İmamoğlu's Murat Çalık protest: "Let go of a fair trial, our lives are now in danger."

Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality Mayor and presidential candidate Ekrem İmamoğlu, who is detained in Silivri Prison, reacted to Beylikdüzü Mayor Murat Çalık being detained in prison despite his serious health problem.
Saying “Enough is enough” in a post on his social media account, İmamoğlu said, “Our Beylikdüzü Mayor, my brother Mehmet Murat Çalık, was sent to prison before his treatment was completed, he fell ill again there, was taken to the hospital and had an angiogram.”

İmamoğlu made the following statements:
"Midnight raids have now joined the lawlessness committed at dawn. Şile Mayor Özgür Kabadayı was detained in a raid on his home at 1:30 a.m.
I've said it before:
Forget about a fair trial; our lives are now in danger. What has been done cannot be justified by law or conscience.
This is no longer competition, it's outright hatred.
"How can there be a politician who hates his nation? There is no one left to turn to for your help except God."
ENOUGH IS ENOUGH, our Beylikdüzü Mayor, my brother Mehmet Murat Çalık was sent to prison before his treatment was completed, he fell ill again there, was hospitalized and had an angiogram.
